How CTS Collects The Data:
Each month, shipping lines submit a subset of their manifests to CTS. This data encompasses all trade routes at the port level, utilising UNLOCODES and the freight rates covering the ocean leg of the journey for the curation of the price indices. The data includes dry and reefer container types reported in TEUs. Before publication, the data undergoes a rigorous high-level review to ensure consistency and accuracy.
